HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A developing tropical storm has gained strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 100 miles east of the coast of Baja California. Forecasters are expecting that Barbara will continue to strengthen over the next few days. The storm is moving westward at a rate of 10 mph.
